Mechanical engineering is an undergraduate major in ordinary colleges and universities. It is a mechanical major, with a basic study period of four years and a bachelor's degree in engineering. The training goal of the mechanical engineering major is to train students who master the basic theories and professional knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing, production management, equipment maintenance and quality control. The professional courses of mechanical engineering include three parts: basic courses, major professional courses, and engineering training courses.

Basic courses include: engineering graphics, mechanics (material mechanics, theoretical mechanics, etc.), thermal fluids (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics or heat transfer), electrical engineering and electronics, materials science foundation, etc.

Professional courses include: mechanical design principles and methods, mechanical manufacturing engineering principles and technology, control theory and technology, engineering testing and information processing, computer application technology, and management science foundations.

Engineering training courses includes: mechanical manufacturing process cognitive practice, mechanical manufacturing basic training, advanced manufacturing technology training, electromechanical comprehensive technical training, etc. Let students improve engineering awareness, quality, safety, environmental awareness and practical ability through systematic engineering technology learning and process technology training.


The mechanical engineering major emphasizes the training mode that combines theory and practice, so while you are learning theoretical knowledge, you can also have many opportunities for hands-on practice.
